Our Mission
To empower teen girls and young adult women to build agency, develop character, confidence, a positive body image, self-esteem and strong leadership skills.
Who We Are
Founded in 2002, Building A Better You is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization dedicated to supporting the personal growth and development of young ladies ages 12–21.
Our guided growth programs are rooted in personal responsibility, respect, and character development. Through a structured, fashion-forward approach, Building A Better You creates opportunities for young women from all backgrounds to strengthen confidence, leadership skills, and authentic self-expression—preparing them to navigate life with clarity, purpose, and self-respect.
Our Programs
Building A Better You offers structured programs and experiences designed to support confidence, leadership, and personal growth in young ladies. Through interactive workshops, guided discussions, mentorship, and experiential learning, participants gain practical tools that strengthen self-awareness, decision-making, and overall well-being.
As girls progress through the Building A Better You pathway, some may be prepared for advanced leadership opportunities, including consideration into the Next Generation Fashion & Arts Council (NGFAC).
