Our Mission
To empower teen girls and young adult women to build agency, develop character, confidence, a positive body image, self-esteem and strong leadership skills.
Who We Are
Founded in 2002, Building A Better You (B.A.B.Y.) is a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization dedicated to supporting the personal growth and development of young ladies ages 12–21.
Our guided growth programs are rooted in personal responsibility, respect, and character development. Through a structured, fashion-forward approach, Building A Better You creates opportunities for young women from all backgrounds to strengthen confidence, leadership skills, and authentic self-expression—preparing them to navigate life with clarity, purpose, and self-respect.
Our Programs
Building A Better You offers structured personal development programs and workshop experiences designed to support confidence, life skills, leadership, and personal growth in teen girls and young women. Through interactive activities, guided discussions, mentorship, and experiential learning, participants gain practical tools that strengthen self-awareness, decision-making, self-worth, and overall well-being.

Confidence Is Couture™ is an introductory signature workshop experience offered through Building A Better You™.
Designed as a creative doorway into our core programs, this fashion-centered experience helps teen girls explore confidence, self-worth, boundaries, personal presence, and purpose.
